The TYPHON xFLEX-2031EM is a mini electric scissor lift that drives itself. At 31.5 in wide and 74.8 in long it passes through a standard single doorway and works in aisles, plant rooms and retail units, then travels between work positions at 2.2 mph without being pushed. Operating weight is 2,646 lbs.

Reach and load

Maximum platform height is 20 ft for a 26.25 ft working height, with a 705.48 lb safe working load and 249.12 lbs rated on the platform extension. A full lift or descent cycle takes 80 to 90 seconds.

Manoeuvrability

The inner turning radius is zero and the outer 66.9 in, on a 54.3 in wheelbase — it turns on the spot inside a corridor. Folded fence height is 68.9 in, so it clears most door frames and roller shutters; unfolded it is 80.7 in. Gradeability is 25 per cent, with a maximum allowable working angle of 2° across and 3° along.

Electric drive

A 24V/3.0 kW motor handles lifting and travel. The dual 12V/120Ah battery system gives 6 to 8 hours of working time and recharges in 6 to 7 hours from the 24V/25A charger. Travel speed is 2.2 mph stowed and 0.5 mph elevated.
