40 ft of reach on a tracked undercarriage

The TYPHON xFlex 4068ET is a tracked electric scissor lift built for sites where a wheeled machine runs out of grip. The rubber track undercarriage spreads 3.2 tons across a long footprint, climbs grades up to 30 degrees at 15 ft per minute, and keeps working on gravel, compacted dirt and construction decking that would stop a solid-tyre lift at the gate.

Platform and capacity

Maximum platform elevation is 40 ft, giving a 45 ft 11 in working height. The 91 in x 46 in deck carries a 705 lb safe working load, enough for two operators with tools and material, and extends a further 35 in to reach over obstructions without repositioning the base. The deck sits on a reinforced chassis built from 0.31 in steel plate.

Drive and power

A 4 kW (5.4 HP) hydraulic pump motor handles lifting, and a walking-style hydraulic motor drives the tracks at a controlled 0.5 mph. Eight 6V/200Ah batteries give 6 to 8 hours of working time and recharge in 6 to 7 hours from the onboard 48V/30A charger — a full shift on a single overnight charge, with no exhaust and no fuel handling.
